The Stand Up Alarm is a nice homely looking alarm. Options for the plain mat or the wood grain look that helps it blend in so it does not look out of place. It has been made as thin as possible to help prevent trips, with the material used 1.5mm / 0.06″ thick at the edge. On the top is an easy wipe lino material, and underneath is a miracle grip material to help the mat stay in position when someone is standing on it. The alarm is placed on the floor next to the bed. Normally it is placed on the side closest to the door or toilet as most people get out of bed on this side during the night. When placed correctly this item should not be a tripping hazard.
